This is a formula for measure of electricity consumption. Through this formula we can find Hours that any electronic machine will take to consume 1 unit of electricity. I named this formula that is RULE OF 1000. For measuring electricity consumption we will require the power capacity of the electronics which is generally mentioned on it. Then we will Divide 1000 by
this power in WATTS
and the answer will always be in Hours.
For example, a Philips 100watt power bulb ! We will divide the 1000 by
100 watt
and the answer will be 10 hours. This means that there are about 10 hours required to consume 1 Unit of electricity.
Formula : Hours = 1000 / watts.
